amcure GmbH is a biopharmaceutical company and 2012 spin-off from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology developing peptide-based compounds for highly metastatic epithelial cancers. Its lead product, AMC303, is a CD44v6-targeting therapeutic designed to block signaling through VEGF/VEGFR-2, HGF/c-Met and MSP/RON pathways. AMC303 has shown strong effects in in vitro and in vivo assays and has entered a Phase I/Ib clinical trial, with the first patient treated at the end of October.
