  • Computomics

    Participated · Series B · Aug 2026

Computomics develops machine-learning models that combine genomic data with environmental information—such as temperature, rainfall, soil conditions—and field trial measurements to predict genotype performance in specific environments. Its commercial offerings include the ×SeedScore platform for large-scale breeding programmes as well as tools like CropCompass, BreedScope, Pantograph, MORPHEUS and MEGAN7 for climate-smart breeding, omics analysis and microbiome study. The company works with commercial breeders across field crops, forage crops, vegetables and specialty crops to identify varieties resilient to hotter, drier conditions and stable across environments. Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Tübingen, Computomics aims to accelerate breeder decisions that would otherwise take years of field testing. The recent Series B financing is intended to support expansion of the platform into additional commercial breeding programmes.

  • EVERSION

    Participated · Seed · Jul 2026

EVERSION develops a corrective insole system built around sensor insoles and an app that collects two weeks of movement data to create a 3D biomechanical model for a custom "0°-sole" insole. The bottom of the insole adjusts load based on user data while the top allows natural foot movement, with the company positioning the product to address misalignment-related knee, hip, and back pain. Founded in 2022 in Konstanz, the team includes founders with backgrounds in orthopaedic shoemaking, engineering, computer science, and sports science. EVERSION achieved CE medical device certification, launched its product, secured reimbursement from German statutory health insurers through a prevention-course program, and has attracted more than 1,500 customers. The company aims to expand its sales channels and partnerships with medical professionals and orthopaedic retailers as it scales.

  • ATMOS Space Cargo

    Participated · Series A · Apr 2026

ATMOS Space Cargo develops free-flying orbital transfer and re-entry vehicles (PHOENIX family) and offers space logistics services to commercial, institutional, and defence customers. PHOENIX 2 is described as a free-flying spacecraft with integrated propulsion and power capable of missions from hours to several months in LEO, performing autonomous de-orbit and controlled atmospheric re-entry using an Inflatable Atmospheric Decelerator (IAD) that is non-ablative and acts as a heat shield and aerodynamic brake. The company plans an initial three-vehicle PHOENIX 2 fleet operated as a phased campaign and is preparing recovery operations near Santa Maria in the Azores under an ANACOM licence. ATMOS is also developing PHOENIX 3, a next-generation return vehicle with an intended payload capacity of roughly one metric tonne, about ten times PHOENIX 2’s capacity. To serve governmental and defence needs it is launching ATMOS WORKS, a dedicated dual-use business unit. The company raised €25.7M in a Series A to fund these activities, including the PHOENIX 2 build, ATMOS WORKS launch, and PHOENIX 3 development, with participation from the EIC Accelerator which provides blended grant and equity financing.

  • HyImpulse Technologies GmbH

    Participated · Series A · Oct 2025

Founded in 2018 by Dr Christian Schmierer, Konstantin Tomilin and Ulrich Fischer, HyImpulse Technologies is building hybrid rocket engines that combine solid and liquid propellants to cut propulsion complexity roughly in half while boosting safety and cost efficiency. Its first vehicle, the SR75, completed a milestone suborbital test flight in 2024, with commercial suborbital launches planned for 2026. The follow-on SL1 orbital launcher is slated for 2027 and is designed to carry up to 600 kg to low-Earth orbit, positioning the company as “Europe’s flexible taxi to space” by offering dedicated launch windows instead of rideshare slots. HyImpulse operates across facilities in Neuenstadt, Ottobrunn and Glasgow and competes with European peers such as Isar Aerospace and Rocket Factory Augsburg. Management claims a pipeline worth hundreds of millions of euros, reflecting strong demand from customers seeking sovereign European launch capacity. Beyond launch services, the firm envisions enabling Europe’s participation in the expanding trillion-euro space economy by supplying domestically built, sustainable rockets.

  • yasp

    Participated · Seed · Sep 2025

Founded in 2023, yasp is building the Agentic AI Compiler, a software tool that automatically generates hardware-specific kernels to speed up the training and inference of AI models. The compiler integrates with popular frameworks such as PyTorch and delivers optimisation through a single API call, eliminating the need for engineers to rewrite complex models. By enhancing performance and shortening time-to-market, yasp addresses the growing cost and efficiency pressures faced by enterprises scaling AI initiatives, where more than 60 % of budgets already go to software and infrastructure. The company positions its technology as a remedy to vendor lock-in, promising flexibility across diverse hardware platforms. yasp operates from newly opened offices in Munich and Montreal and intends to expand support for additional hardware architectures and deepen integrations with widely used development tools. The team aims to launch the Agentic AI Compiler publicly by Q4 2025, using its recent capital infusion to accelerate product development. Although specific revenue or user numbers were not disclosed, the company is targeting the rapidly expanding AI market, which it cites as heading toward $1.8 trillion in investment by 2030.
