EVERSION develops a corrective insole system built around sensor insoles and an app that collects two weeks of movement data to create a 3D biomechanical model for a custom "0°-sole" insole. The bottom of the insole adjusts load based on user data while the top allows natural foot movement, with the company positioning the product to address misalignment-related knee, hip, and back pain. Founded in 2022 in Konstanz, the team includes founders with backgrounds in orthopaedic shoemaking, engineering, computer science, and sports science. EVERSION achieved CE medical device certification, launched its product, secured reimbursement from German statutory health insurers through a prevention-course program, and has attracted more than 1,500 customers. The company aims to expand its sales channels and partnerships with medical professionals and orthopaedic retailers as it scales.
