BlueSkeye AI develops proprietary face and voice analysis technology to enable mental health diagnoses and to enhance safety and wellbeing for drivers and passengers. The company is a spin-out from the University of Nottingham’s School of Computer Science and is based in Nottingham, UK. Its core product applies machine learning to facial and vocal signals to support clinical and non-clinical health and wellbeing use cases. BlueSkeye intends to use new funding to accelerate expansion across both clinical and non-clinical health and wellbeing markets. As part of the investment the company will establish a physical presence in the North‑West of England. Leadership includes Professor Michel Valstar (CEO), Dr Anthony Brown (CTO) and Dr Timur Almaev (Chief Machine Learning and Software Engineer).
