Overview

BlueVine offers banking and working-capital products — including Business Checking, Payments, and a Line of Credit — built specifically for small and medium-sized businesses. The company emphasizes providing flexible credit and resources to help very small businesses grow and thrive. BlueVine recently increased the committed amount on its Line of Credit warehouse debt facility with Atalaya and two lenders advised by 20 Gates Management to $150M, with the ability to upsize to $300M. It has also restarted its Line of Credit forward-flow program with multiple previous and new buyers, with capacity to sell hundreds of millions in originations annually. These financing partnerships are intended to diversify funding sources and enable BlueVine to expand its Line of Credit lending during economic recovery. BlueVine is based in Redwood City, California, and is backed by investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Menlo Ventures, 83North, Citi Ventures, ION Crossover Partners, SVB Capital, Nationwide Insurance, and M12. BlueVine provides small- and medium-sized businesses access to financial services via an advanced online platform. The company offers a suite of products including BlueVine Business Checking, Line of Credit, Term Loan, and Invoice Factoring. Led by CEO Eyal Lifsthiz, BlueVine has provided more than $6.5 billion in financing to SMBs. It also delivered $4.5 billion in Coronavirus pandemic financial relief loans through the Paycheck Protection Program to more than 155,000 small business owners. BlueVine recently opened a Salt Lake City, Utah office focused on customer service initiatives. The company is using new capital to expand its Line of Credit lending solution and broaden lending resources for small business customers. BlueVine is a fintech that offers financing and business banking products specifically for SMBs. Its core offerings include lines of credit and term loans (both up to $250,000), invoice factoring with credit lines up to $5 million, and a growing business banking suite including checking accounts. The company aims to be a one-stop financial platform for SMBs, expanding product breadth to keep customers on its platform and improve margins rather than white-labeling its technology. BlueVine has originated about $2.5 billion in loans to roughly 20,000 small businesses and only recently launched its checking product. Financially, the company is not yet profitable but reports 100% growth year-over-year and expects triple-digit revenue this year. It has raised significant equity and debt to fund growth and loan originations. BlueVine provides flexible working capital financing to small and medium-sized businesses, giving them quick access to funds to purchase inventory, cover expenses, or expand operations. The company developed a fully-online, cloud-based platform for invoice factoring and also offers Flex Credit, a business line of credit financing issued by Celtic Bank. Flex Credit is based on 6-month and 12-month payment terms. Founded in 2013 by CEO Eyal Lifshitz, BlueVine now has more than 200 employees across Redwood City, New Jersey, New Orleans and Israel. Financially, the company has raised over $500M to date, with its Series E totaling $72M after the additional $12M announced. BlueVine provides working capital financing to small and medium-sized businesses, offering business lines of credit and invoice factoring. The company plans to expand its business line of credit product using newly secured capital. BlueVine recently secured a $200 million asset-backed revolving credit facility with Credit Suisse. It is also raising its business line of credit limit to $250,000 and earlier doubled its invoice factoring credit limit to $5 million.
