Participated · Series C · Aug 2026
KnowledgeWork is a Japanese sales enablement company that has moved from a SaaS knowledge-sharing platform for sales teams into a provider of sales-specific AI agents for large enterprises. It sells three lines: Sales AX Consulting, in which consultants and forward-deployed engineers build and operate AI agents fitted to a customer's own sales process; Sales AI Products, including a tool that automates meeting minutes and CRM/SFA entry and a roleplay tool that runs practice sales conversations against AI avatars; and Sales AI Agent OS, launched in August 2026 as the underlying platform, composed of ontology, strategy, AI agent, and interface layers. Its software is deployed at major Japanese enterprises at thousands-of-seats scale, including NTT Docomo Business, Mizuho Bank, and Nissin Foods. The company is pursuing capital and business alliances with large corporates and their venture arms to widen distribution of its sales AI agents. KnowledgeWork was incorporated in March 2020 under CEO Koji Asano and is headquartered in the Azabudai Hills Mori JP Tower in Minato-ku, Tokyo. Financially, the company had raised ¥6.12 billion cumulatively through its Series B in November 2023 and added ¥3.5 billion (~$22.1M) in the first close of its Series C in August 2026.
- Vinyl Equity
Participated · Series A · Jun 2026
Vinyl Equity builds infrastructure for capital markets and corporate transactions, offering issuer-focused capabilities such as shareholder recordkeeping, equity operations, paying agency, and transaction workflows. The platform includes integrated payments solutions, document collection, KYC/KYB controls, tax filing, audit trails, and fraud prevention, and it integrates with equity plan administrators via APIs to reconcile vested and exercised shares in real time. Vinyl supports both private and public companies and has acted as transfer agent for clients including Neptune Insurance Holdings Inc. after its NYSE listing. Headquartered in Chicago and SEC-registered as a transfer agent, Vinyl emphasizes auditability, system integrity, and real-time accuracy for regulated market environments. The company plans to expand engineering, compliance, and go-to-market teams following its $20 million Series A to deepen issuer support and advance its infrastructure for emerging market models such as tokenization.
- Pluang
Led · Series C · May 2026
Pluang operates a retail investment platform that historically generated most of its revenue from gold transaction fees and has expanded offerings to include US stocks, cryptocurrency and, as of April, Indonesia Stock Exchange-listed equities. The company reported group revenue of US$30 million last year and EBITDA profitability in the same period, and it serves more than 13 million registered accounts. Pluang has maintained a workforce of about 200 employees following a 10% reduction in 2023 and is implementing automation to handle onboarding after a surge of more than 50,000 account applications for its equities launch strained verification operations. Management paused marketing for the new equities service while it automates onboarding, a process expected to take two to three weeks. The firm made its first external market entry in June 2025 through a Philippines SEC sandbox allowing investment in US stocks with Philippine pesos and is targeting an official launch in the Philippines next year if testing succeeds. CEO Claudia Kolonas has emphasized a conservative growth approach, keeping recent fundraising in reserve for potential acquisitions or international expansion rather than immediate deployment.
- Micronity
Led · Seed · Apr 2026
Founded in April 2025 and based in Tokyo, Micronity operates an AI-driven business succession platform that acquires niche, industry-specific software companies and integrates AI agents to automate their operations. The company targets the succession crisis among Japanese SMEs by taking ownership of mission-critical software businesses in sectors like construction, manufacturing, healthcare, and logistics. Within its first year Micronity achieved JPY 2.5 billion in ARR and has completed the acquisition and succession of five software firms. Micronity intends to scale its M&A and post-merger integration capabilities and to develop proprietary AI services to increase margins and operational autonomy across its portfolio. The startup describes its vision as "Release the World," aiming to convert Japan's succession bottleneck into a model that could be exported to other aging societies. Its current financial position is anchored by the recently closed JPY 2.2 billion seed round led by MUIP.
- Alpaca
Participated · Series D · Jan 2026

The company supports over 10 million brokerage accounts across hundreds of fintechs and institutions in more than 40 countries. Alpaca has expanded its regulated footprint through acquisitions, including an IFSCA-regulated broker-dealer and payment service provider in GIFT City and UK/European entities with passporting across the EEA, and has launched global equities access beginning with European equities. It has onboarded major global crypto exchanges and tokenization platforms, reported doubling revenue year-over-year for three consecutive years, and surpassed $1.5 billion in assets under custody for underlying stocks backing tokenized equities. Alpaca plans to use the new financing to accelerate its agent-first brokerage and API-first prime brokerage infrastructure to support tokenized markets and AI-native financial services.
