Overview
Capim provides a dental-focused operating system that helps clinics digitize operations, manage appointments, and offer BNPL financing to patients. Its BNPL product allows payments up to 36 installments and, the company says, charges interest rates roughly 50% lower than traditional banks. Capim plans to launch a point-of-sale terminal that accepts credit/debit cards and PIX, lowers merchant discount rates, and integrates with its financial management module. The startup is also developing AI-powered tools to improve clinical operations and will use the new capital to accelerate go-to-market efforts and expand its clinic and patient network. Capim reports it has helped over 60,000 Brazilians access dental procedures, serves 6,000 clinics today and expects to reach over 10,000 by year-end. Founded in July 2021 and based in São Paulo, the company tripled revenue in 2024, added over 4,000 clinics last year, is not yet profitable but says it “broke even” at the end of last year, and employs about 130 people.
