- Vixtra
Participated · Series A · Jun 2026
Vixtra offers financial services for importers, focusing on modernizing an analog foreign-trade ecosystem by providing credit, FX and related products. The company uses stablecoins in its FX transactions and lending processes, which it says enables greater speed and competitive pricing. Vixtra already manages a credit portfolio of R$250 million and reports an ARR of US$12 million. Leadership, led by CEO Leonardo Baltieri, positions the business as a complementary alternative to traditional banks rather than a replacement. The firm intends to accelerate customer acquisition—seeking to increase monthly new clients from about 10 to 20–30—and to introduce new offerings including loans and currency insurance. These plans are cited as core uses for the fresh capital from the Series A round.
- Hero Seguros
Participated · Equity · Apr 2026
Hero Seguros operates as a managing general agent (MGA) focused on digital B2B2C distribution, connecting insurers to end customers through intermediaries and a network of roughly 5,000 agencies. Its core offering is travel insurance, where it has captured about 15% of the Brazilian market and serves more than four million insureds. The company reported approximately $58 million in premiums in the last year and has diversified into financial protection and extended-warranty products, which represent about 25% of premium volume. Hero runs an internal assistance unit, Hero Assist, to handle claims and customer service, retaining control of service quality and data. Founded by Guilherme Wroclawski and Raphael Swierczynski, the business reached profitability quickly and holds high customer-satisfaction credentials such as the RA1000 certification from Reclame AQUI. With the new capital, Hero plans to expand across Latin America and scale its multiline platform while adapting to local regulatory and market conditions.
- Bliss
Participated · Series A · Mar 2026
Bliss provides an AI-driven platform to support brokers in the distribution of corporate health plans to SMEs, automating operational tasks such as quote generation, product comparison, and policy issuance. At the center of its offering is an AI agent called Fátima that navigates sector systems, reduces manual work and helps mitigate fraud. The company says brokers using the platform can increase sales four to five times in their second year of use. Bliss reached breakeven at the end of the previous year and operates in a Brazilian market the article estimates at about R$300 billion annually, with roughly 25% population coverage. Planned near-term priorities include geographic expansion to other Brazilian capitals (including Rio de Janeiro and Brasília) and scaling product and engineering teams to consolidate its automation platform.
- Amelia
Led · Seed · Mar 2026
Amelia is focused on bringing a fully digital approach to solar construction, positioning itself as a pioneer in what it calls the “era of digital solar construction.” The company’s product suite centers on software-enabled processes that streamline how solar installations are planned and executed. While detailed operating metrics such as revenue, customer count, or installations completed have not been disclosed, Amelia’s recent fundraise signals early-stage momentum. The €5 million seed round provides the startup with its first institutional capital base, giving it resources to build out its platform and scale commercialization efforts. Amelia emphasizes that this financing milestone underlines market appetite for digital transformation within the solar sector. No prior funding rounds, geographic headquarters, or founding year were mentioned in the materials reviewed.
- Iniciador
Participated · Equity · Aug 2025
Iniciador is a Brazilian fintech focused on technology infrastructure for payments, offering API connectivity and licensed operations as an Institución de Pago (IP) and Iniciador de Pagos (ITP). The company charges per successful transaction on its platform and works with customers including iFood, Stone and Nomad. Iniciador says it manages 60% of institutions offering Pix automático and 50% of those offering Pix by biometrics, and reports its customer base has grown fourfold since the start of the year. The startup plans to use the new capital to boost product and technology development, hire staff to support growth, and strengthen prudential capital required by the Central Bank. It operates amid rapid expansion of Brazil’s open finance ecosystem and ongoing launches from the Central Bank (Pix inteligente, Pix biometría, Pix automático and upcoming Pix parcelado). Founded in 2021, the company emphasizes the operational complexity of connecting to Central Bank APIs and the importance of efficient daily operation to maximize client conversion.
