Founded in 2022 by Sri Velliyur and Surya Maguluri, CURAPOD builds clinician-led, wearable devices that deliver photobiomodulation therapy for back, neck and knee pain, joint disorders, muscle stiffness, and sports injuries. The FDA-registered device offers a drug-free alternative for more than 30 musculoskeletal conditions and is paired with a companion mobile application. CURAPOD plans to accelerate research and development, enhance its hardware and app, and scale manufacturing capacity. The company is expanding its go-to-market strategy through direct-to-consumer channels as well as partnerships with gyms, physiotherapy centres, and sports medicine networks. Proceeds will also support operational efficiency improvements. CURAPOD is already backed by Litemed and is growing its footprint across India.
