Deblock

Peer House, 8-14 Verulam Street, 2nd Floor, London, England, WC1X 8LZ, United Kingdom

Overview

Deblock merges traditional banking features with blockchain infrastructure by linking a regulated euro current account to a personal, self-owned crypto wallet, enabling users to manage fiat, investments, and DeFi access in one place. Founded by former Revolut and Ledger executives, the company launched in France in April 2024 and has already attracted more than 300,000 customers. Its regulatory posture is strong: Deblock is authorised by the Banque de France as an Electronic Money Institution and holds a MiCA licence from the AMF. Core features include everyday payments, savings via Vaults, and direct entry to decentralised finance while preserving user self-custody. The business model targets consumers seeking security and usability without relinquishing control of their assets. With fresh capital, Deblock plans to build local teams, localise its product, and add German-language support ahead of a rollout in Germany. Management sees Germany’s mature digital-finance ecosystem and clear regulations as critical to accelerating adoption of on-chain banking across Europe.
