Dirac Labs is developing navigation technologies aimed at enabling positioning and access beneath the Earth's surface and underwater. The company intends to apply its recent pre-seed funding to accelerate development and deployment of those systems to operate where GPS does not reach. Dirac has supplemented venture backing with public grants and accelerator support from NOAA via gener8tor, the Mercatus Center, the Indo-U.S. Science and Technology Forum, and the Wisconsin Entrepreneurship Hub in partnership with the University of Wisconsin–Madison. The team includes founders Akshit Goyal, Sanket Deshpande and Aishwarya Das, and the company emphasizes early product-building progress. No revenue, user, or valuation figures were disclosed in the announcement.
