Donecle offers a patented inspection system that combines autonomous drones, high-resolution imaging and AI to automate aircraft inspections, which the company says can be completed up to 10x faster than manual methods. Its platform is certified by Airbus, Boeing, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency and the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration and is deployed in more than 15 countries with a fleet of over 40 drones. Customers include commercial and military operators such as United, LATAM, DHL, Viva, Lufthansa, the French Air Force and the Royal Air Force. Donecle reports that its drone operations have saved several thousand tonnes of CO2eq by replacing diesel-powered aerial work platforms and reducing aircraft downtime. The company has a team of 35 employees and plans to hire around ten more staff following the recent financing. With the new funds it intends to accelerate international expansion, pursue partnerships and acquisitions, and continue investing in AI and data integration with MRO systems.
