Earthshot provides a LandOS technology platform and ecosystem analytics to automate feasibility, underwriting, and diligence for nature-based carbon projects. The product lowers the speed and cost of project development while providing detailed scientific rigor for institutional investors and corporate buyers. Earthshot has helped develop more than 60 reforestation, conservation, agroforestry, and improved forest management projects and has directed over $55 million in financing. Current partner projects with organizations like Birdlife International and TreeAid cover over one million hectares and are expected to sequester more than 30 million tonnes of CO2. The company positions itself as an alternative to conventional developers by addressing market criticisms such as unfair community compensation, over-crediting, poor biodiversity outcomes, and rushed FPIC processes. Earthshot plans to use the Series A proceeds to expand its platform for nature-based carbon project development and financing.
