EMQ develops network infrastructure and APIs that speed up international payments and integrates with online banks, digital wallets, e-commerce settlement providers and licensed financial institutions. Its technology can be integrated with as little as two API calls and includes a fully functional sandbox that mimics real transactions for testing. EMQ is licensed in Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia, is registered as a Money Service Business in Canada, and has been accepted into Taiwan’s Financial Supervisory Commission regulatory sandbox. Its tech is already used to process business payments in 80 countries. In May the company launched an enterprise payment solution and expects B2B transactions to account for half of its gross transaction volume in 2021. The company says it will focus on scaling business remittances in China, followed by India and Japan.
