ERG Controls builds YIKA, a patent-backed, AI-supported product that tracks hand-hygiene activities via wearable badges and sensors. The system monitors hospital staff and is also positioned for food production facilities, restaurants, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. The company says it aims to eliminate around 50% of health-threatening risks tied to hand hygiene. ERG Controls was founded in 2020 by Batuhan Ergör and Mehmet Ergör and graduated from the Acıbadem Incubation Program and MigrosUP in 2021. Prior to the raise the team numbered 14 people; with the investment they plan to grow the team and strengthen their global footprint.
