Heex Technologies provides a smart data platform that lets customers target relevant data and share it with the right users for supervision, system monitoring, and continuous software improvement. Customers configure specific events to determine conditions for extracting associated data, enabling selective retention or migration of data to colder storage to reduce energy compared with continuous cloud access. The company already works with major automotive equipment manufacturers in Germany and Asia, and with RATP and Nokia in France. In the United States, Heex is working with transportation authorities on a five-year experimental project in California to retrieve relevant data from companies testing autonomous vehicles. Led by CEO Bruno Mendes Da Silva, Heex has initially focused on autonomous vehicles but intends to expand into adjacent industries such as Smart Cities and Industry 4.0. The company raised €6M and has backing in the form of a loan from BPI France. Heex Technologies builds a smart data stack to help developers tackle delivery of AI apps, targeting companies that lack internal software engineering resources. Its stack operates in the cloud and on edge devices, including connected vehicles. The company also offers a simulation development kit that lets enterprises turn smart data into virtualised intelligent systems. Heex positions its software to make large data flows more intuitive, particularly for smaller enterprises adopting AI. Financially, Heex has just closed a €3.2 million pre-seed round composed of €2.0 million in equity and €1.2 million in non-dilutive financing.
