Hellotickets operates an online marketplace for tours and activities, offering about 5,000 experiences to customers in 15 countries. The company has evolved its business model and previously competed with global ticket platforms such as Ticketmaster, StubHub and Viagogo, and more recently with activity platforms like Civitatis, TripAdvisor and GetYourGuide. Hellotickets is headquartered in Madrid and employs around 25 people. Management says the second round brought in more Spanish corporate investors compared with its first round, which had U.S. and U.K. backers. The company planned to exceed €10 million in revenues in 2020 and expected to begin generating profits, targeting profitability by the end of the following year.
