    Nester offers an all-in-one platform for the end-to-end management and administration of rental properties, aimed at property managers and operators. The software automates daily operations—contracts, invoices and settlements, tenant communications, digital rent collection and incident management—replacing manual processes to increase efficiency and visibility. The product targets clients from mid-size agencies to large portfolio owners and counts customers such as Badi Homes and Spain Student Housing. In a little more than two years the company scaled from managing 100 properties in under six months (2022) to managing 20,000 properties across 250 companies. Nester was selected for AWS's accelerator and for Lanzadera and has received backing from various investment funds and business angels. The startup plans to expand its range of functionalities and modules and aims to become the reference daily-management software for rental properties in Spain and Europe. It recently closed a financing round to support product development, customer acquisition and continued innovation.

The company was founded in 2019 by Eric Daniel Fernández and Víctor García Pujol and is based in Barcelona. Kubbo says it has seen strong adoption by brands and eCommerce companies and positions itself as one of Spain’s more innovative logistics startups. The startup plans to continue developing new functionalities for its logistics management software and to expand its network of strategic partners nationally and internationally. Financially, Kubbo closed a second investment round of €1 million and has also secured a loan from ENISA to support team growth and geographic expansion into major Spanish cities. Kubbo is a Barcelona-based provider of fulfillment services and same-day, next-day and sub-2-hour deliveries for e-commerce. Founded in 2019 by Eric Daniel Fernández and Víctor García Pujol, the company operates multi-client urban warehouses where it prepares orders and manages last-mile deliveries. It offers integrations with major e-commerce platforms and a web application that allows clients to monitor inventory levels and order status from a single point. Kubbo plans to open new warehouses in six provincial capitals and to expand nationally during the year, with further expansion to other EU countries planned for 2021. The startup was one of two winners of the first PcComponentes Startup Booster program. Kubbo recently closed its first funding round, raising €266,000 from business angels led by Aurorial, with participation from Future One (Itnig), Successful Ventures and other business angels. The company will use the proceeds to deploy new locations, grow product, technology, sales and operations teams, add new features and broaden its service catalogue.

  • Paymefy

The service aims to accelerate debtor payments and, when payments are not made, to surface what is happening with the account. Founded about a year and a half before the December 2021 article and based in Barcelona, the company focuses on validating use with large financial and utilities customers to test international markets. At the time of the round Paymefy had 15 employees and plans to use the funds to grow the team to 25. Founders Quim Zurano and Guillem Sarlé retained 60% ownership after the raise. No revenue figures were disclosed in the article.
