  Paymefy automates the collections and recovery cycles of large companies by sending automated digital notifications that integrate payment platforms such as PayPal, Apple Pay and PISP transfers. The service aims to accelerate debtor payments and, when payments are not made, to surface what is happening with the account. Founded about a year and a half before the December 2021 article and based in Barcelona, the company focuses on validating use with large financial and utilities customers to test international markets. At the time of the round Paymefy had 15 employees and plans to use the funds to grow the team to 25. Founders Quim Zurano and Guillem Sarlé retained 60% ownership after the raise. No revenue figures were disclosed in the article.
