iLife Technologies provides a front-end Operating System (OS) for insurance carriers and agencies that consolidates critical distribution workflows in one platform. The product enables agents to generate quotes and e-apps instantly, communicate and market to clients from the CRM, and build insurance websites code-free. Used by over 11,000 agents, the OS is designed to shorten sales cycles, reduce back-office expenses, and improve customer experiences. The company was co-founded by Nelson Lee and Amit Lohia and is based in Palo Alto, CA. iLife said it will use the $17M Series A to fund product engineering and growth. It also plans to announce partnerships with top carriers and IMOs in the near future. iLife develops a platform that enables life insurance agents to set up branded "digital insurance agencies" with lower up-front costs. The company says it has cut the typical thousands-of-dollars startup cost to just $99. iLife is led by founder and CEO Nelson Lee and is based in Playa Vista. In June 2021 it raised seed financing to support growth. The company plans to use the funding to expand its team, with a particular focus on customer service, and to develop additional product features. The platform is positioned to simplify agency launch and operations for individual agents.
