Imaginario AI provides an AI-powered platform and API that simplifies and accelerates processes related to multimedia content creation and understanding. The company processes video and audio content and says major studios and media companies—including Warner Bros. Discovery, Universal Pictures and Cineverse—have reported significant time savings using its solutions. Founded in 2021 by Jose Puga and Abdelhak Loukkal in Tunis, Imaginario AI has built technology aimed at media and content workflows. In December 2023 the company raised $1.0M in a pre-seed round led by 216 Capital. Additional participants included Blue Lake VC, Earthling Ventures, Comcast NBCUniversal, Techstars and a series of business angels. The funding will be used to support international expansion and to grow teams in the United States, Europe and the MENA region.
