In December 2023 the company raised $1.0M in a pre-seed round led by 216 Capital. Additional participants included Blue Lake VC, Earthling Ventures, Comcast NBCUniversal, Techstars and a series of business angels. The funding will be used to support international expansion and to grow teams in the United States, Europe and the MENA region.

My Easy Transfer is a remittance platform connecting Tunisia and Europe that enables safe transfers for diaspora members. Founded in March 2022 by brothers Ismaïl and Jabrane Khenissi, the startup has 10,000 customers to date. It raised EUR400,000 (US$420,000) from venture capital firm 216 Capital to accelerate product and platform development. The company plans to broaden its offering to handle all diaspora payment needs in a single mobile app, including money transfers, mobile top-ups, and local bill payments. My Easy Transfer intends to expand into new African markets such as Morocco, Mali, and Senegal. The founders also plan to change the business model to become a payment super app for the diaspora and to fortify their position in Tunisia through new alliances.
