ProXalys, founded in 2021 by Thierno Sakho, focuses on digitizing the full value chain for business-to-business trade and modernizing procedures for informal retailers. The company operates in Senegal and has expanded operations to Tunisia. Its core work includes reimagining supply chain procedures and building products to empower Senegalese informal traders; it is preparing to launch a new product called ProBoutik. ProXalys plans to use the recent funding to strengthen its data and artificial intelligence teams in Senegal and Tunisia and accelerate ProBoutik’s rollout.
