Infact builds a real-time credit bureau and offers an API that lets lenders report data and obtain consumer credit risk insights instantly. The company aims to modernize legacy credit reference practices to better reflect high-velocity, transactional consumer credit behavior and to improve financial inclusion and rehabilitation of credit profiles. Infact launched its first product, the Affordability Engine, and has seen early engagement from several leading UK lenders to help populate the bureau. The founding team is led by Will Mason and Andy Milligan, alumni of Runpath and Experian, and includes executives with experience across NatWest, TSB, Experian, Metro Bank, and other finance and fintech firms. The business recently secured FCA authorisation to operate as a credit reference agency. Proceeds from the raise will be used to accelerate building a richer bureau database and extend the product suite to support challenger lenders and banks.
