  • Capsa AI

    Participated · Series A · Jun 2026

Capsa AI develops an AI platform that creates a unified knowledge layer across a private capital firm's existing systems (CRMs, Outlook, SharePoint and proprietary sources) to make institutional information searchable and accessible through AI-powered workflows. The technology captures how a fund operates and encodes that operational knowledge to streamline sourcing, due diligence, portfolio monitoring and back-office functions. Its platform is already used by several large private capital firms and indexes millions of internal documents, conversations and records while meeting enterprise security and compliance requirements. Capsa AI was founded by Danyal Oezduezenciler and Callum Downie. Financially, the company has raised $18 million in a Series A and $20 million in total to date. Capsa AI plans to expand into the U.S., grow engineering and go-to-market teams, and continue developing its agentic AI and indexing capabilities.

Its platform processes tens of billions of internet events each day to transform internet-scale visibility into actionable intelligence about infrastructure behaviour, potential operators and trustworthiness. The system offers pre-built threat monitoring capabilities alongside tools for creating custom detection rules. Infrawatch is positioning its product for enterprise deployments and plans a public launch later this year. The company is expanding its engineering and research teams and preparing to enter the U.S. market as part of its growth plans.

The company has grown its partner network five-fold in the past year and counts firms representing almost €229 billion (£200 billion) in AuM, including Brooks Macdonald, Canaccord Wealth, Artorius, Lincoln, Cerno, Parmenion, P1 and Soderberg. Firenze positions Lombard lending as a fast-access liquidity option (often in as little as 24 hours) for mass affluent clients and aims to democratise access beyond private banking. Its go-to-market includes a SaaS proposition attracting banks and financial institutions, and it reports a rapidly growing loan book. Current plans include enhancing its SaaS product (notably an agentic credit structurer), expanding to more partners and entering new jurisdictions to scale its offering.
