Its simulations are enabled by adaptive algorithms developed from years of research in numerical analysis, computer science and computational fluid dynamics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. The company is a spin-out of KTH and targets industries including automotive and construction. Founded in January 2015 and led by CEO Sebastian Desand, Adaptive Simulations is commercializing its product innovation. The firm recently raised €1.5M in funding to support its commercial efforts. It is based in Stockholm, Sweden.
