Overview

Fairpoint Capital is a B2B technology investment fund sprung out of the technology team of SEB Venture Capital. The fund is independent from SEB but the bank remains its main investor. Other investors are institutions with a close relationship to the bank. We thus leverage on more than two decades of technology venture capital investments and exits in well over 50 technology companies. Exits include companies like Tail-f Systems, Donya Labs, Kreatel, Bluetail, Diakrit and Coresonic. Trade buyers include Microsoft, Cisco, Mediatek, Telia, Intel, NewsCorp and CGI.

Management emphasizes automation of workflows and the development of deeper marketing analytics as strategic priorities. The business recently completed a €5 million Series A to fund product expansion, innovation and international growth. Existing investors including Fairpoint Capital, eEquity, Newion, Frol41 and J12 participated in the round, indicating continued support for the company’s strategy. The firm, based in Stockholm and previously known as Mediatool, intends to use the capital to strengthen market position and scale its platform internationally.

Over the past year the company completed deployments across a range of global sports properties, including European football leagues, the US Open and ATP Tour tennis, the NBA, NHL, PGA Tour golf, rugby and Premier Padel. Muybridge's commercial strategy emphasizes partnerships with technology providers, managed service providers and system integrators. The company also sees potential applications beyond sports in live entertainment, security infrastructure, physical AI and autonomous systems. The recent $16M Series A will fund international expansion, scaling of the commercial organisation, and further development of its imaging technology platform.

Its fully managed platform replaces slow, project-based integrations with an always-on service that removes bottlenecks, lowers costs, and accelerates time-to-value. By productizing the delivery and operations of integrations, ONEiO treats them as core infrastructure that can scale and evolve continuously, supported by its ONEAi® technology and domain expertise. Delivered as a cloud-based service, it replaces custom code and middleware and includes built-in automation, monitoring, security, and compliance. The company has helped major organisations automate complex IT service ecosystems, including SIAM and global multi-vendor environments. The new funding will be used to advance IntegrationOps as a Service and to support key hires and expansion across the UK and DACH. ONEiO offers cloud-native, automated integration services that deliver integrations as a cloud-based, enterprise-grade service. The platform automates integration delivery and production and provides integrations on a pay-per-use pricing model. It focuses on integrating external service providers into ERP processes to give full transparency and control across supply chains. The company says it can set up complex multi-point process integrations in days instead of weeks or months and positions itself as a service-oriented alternative to traditional iPaaS. ONEiO plans to accelerate growth and expand into Central Europe (DACH) and North America (U.S.). Financially, it has raised €7.2 million in a seed round to support scaling operations and international expansion.

Its core offerings include a Model Optimization SDK that prunes, quantises, and compresses models, plus visualization tools and a modular architecture for hardware-aware optimisation and cross-platform deployment. The company serves defence, automotive, and robotics clients and has supported customers such as Bosch and Kodiak Robotics. Embedl’s technology can reduce energy use by up to 83% and halve hardware costs through efficient model optimisation, addressing rising inference costs and demand for low-power, real-time on-device AI. A spinoff from Chalmers University of Technology that began commercial operations in 2022, Embedl plans to accelerate commercialisation and launch its SaaS platform, Embedl Hub, with the new funding.

Notable customers include adidas, Brooks Running, Tapestry and Asics among other apparel, footwear and luxury brands. The company plans to deepen product innovation, expand collaborations and strengthen its presence in key markets to accelerate global expansion, and intends to offer services to regional and mid-size brands in 2024. TrusTrace is led by CEO Shameek Ghosh. TrusTrace is a Stockholm-based SaaS provider that offers a platform for supply-chain transparency and product traceability across the fashion, food and retail industries. The platform, built on AI, blockchain and BOTS with an open architecture, integrates with retailer, manufacturer and supplier systems as well as third parties such as certification agencies and lifecycle dataset providers. TrusTrace serves more than 40 customers and tracks over 8,000 suppliers, 250,000 products and more than $12 billion worth of goods on its platform. The company’s customers include Fjällräven, Filippa K, Zalando, Decathlon and Coop. The new capital will be used to accelerate global expansion, expand product development and strengthen the team. Founded in 2016 and led by CEO Shameek Ghosh, TrusTrace positions itself to scale enterprise adoption of supply-chain transparency tools.
