Overview
Inovedis develops the SINEFIX implant system, a device that enables refixation of the rotator cuff tendon to bone using a simplified surgical technique optimized for minimally invasive surgery. SINEFIX requires minimal instrumentation and reduces the complexity of suture management and knot tying. The implant received FDA clearance in 2023. Inovedis closed a $4M Series A to support its next commercial and clinical steps. Proceeds will be used for the commercial launch of SINEFIX in the United States and to sponsor a clinical study in Germany to generate data needed for CE marking and expansion into Europe. The company is led by Founder and CEO Lukas Flöss and co-founder/inventor Dr. Stefan Welte and is based in Albstadt, Germany.
