Insite AI provides an AI-driven platform hosted on customers’ cloud environments that synthesizes retailer, sales, supply chain and market data to simulate and forecast assortment, pricing and trade-promotion performance by product, store and day. Launched out of stealth by co-founders Shaveer Mirpuri and Jonathan Reid, the company aims to replace slow, costly consulting engagements with scalable, predictive category and revenue-growth management tools. Insite’s software generates scenario-driven recommendations and explanations for demand drivers and price elasticity to inform inventory, assortment and promotion decisions. The company reports more than two dozen customers, including 10 of the world’s largest 30 consumer brands, and says it manages over $80 billion in customer revenue and makes decisions for nearly 20 billion product units. Mirpuri declined to share Insite’s own revenue figures. The new funding will be used for customer onboarding, hiring industry experts to shape product initiatives, expanding the feature set and doubling headcount over the next 12 months as it opens a new office in Bentonville, Arkansas, where it is headquartered.
