Inspector Cloud
Moscow, Moscow City, Russian Federation
Overview
Inspector Cloud is a computer vision SaaS that automates the work of merchandisers and sales representatives by recognizing goods on retail shelves and generating KPI reports using neural networks. The platform lets users take several photos instead of performing manual counts to measure on-shelf availability, shelf share versus competitors, and other key indicators, reducing visit time and increasing data accuracy. Inspector Cloud counts major FMCG clients including PepsiCo, Unilever, Nestle, Schwarzkopf, Henkel, and PMI. By the end of the first half of 2020 the company had processed over 30 million photos, a 7x increase versus 2019, marking it as one of the fastest-growing image-recognition startups in retail. The company was founded in 2016 in Moscow by Pavel Boyko and Alexander Berenov. In August 2020 Inspector Cloud raised $500,000 from OKS Group to support expansion into Eastern Europe (notably Poland) and Latin America (starting with Brazil).
