Instacar is a Greek car-leasing platform launched in 2019 that provides flexible hire on leases ranging from one month to two years. The platform covers cars, vans, e-bikes and other vehicles and has expanded into value-add services such as tire changes, cleaning and parking. Its software uses internal application metrics to supply leases without a bond or down payment. The company positioned this expansion as melding flexible rental with additional services to drive growth. Instacar recently completed a financing package that combines equity and debt to support its expanded services offering. Co-founder Antonis Samothrakis confirmed a share capital increase and a borrowing facility as part of the package.
