Overview
Integrate.ai offers a cloud-based “Trusted Signals Exchange” SaaS platform that helps consumer-centric companies move from rules-based decisioning to machine-learning-driven customer decisioning. The platform claims to share insights across a pooled base of customers without traditional data-pooling, using techniques such as deep learning, transfer learning, representative learning and some differential privacy. Early sector focus includes retail banking, retail and telcos, and the company lists customers in the “tens,” including Telus, Scotiabank and Corus; the product launched in alpha about 12 months ago and remains in beta. Integrate.ai has published a whitepaper on operationalizing ethics in machine learning and is working with the Vector Institute on fairness research. Founded and led by former Facebook marketing exec Steve Irvine, the eighteen-month-old startup has roughly 40 employees and plans to grow headcount 3x–4x over the next 12 months while targeting a 10x revenue increase. Management says early customer feedback shows profitability improvements (around 30% on average; a cited insurer saw a 23% boost) and will use the new funding for a significant U.S. market push. Integrate.ai develops a platform that optimizes customer engagement by applying AI to social media, alternative data, and first‑party data. The company positions its product as an enterprise AI SaaS solution to help businesses assess, engage, and optimize relationships with consumers. Integrate.ai announced a new advisory board drawn from multiple industries to help develop enterprise relationships and guide product go-to-market. The company raised C$5.6 million in a funding round from advisory board members, employees, and VC firms to advance its platform and customer acquisition. Integrate.ai previously raised a US$5 million seed round in February 2016 and says it plans to complete a larger institutional Series A in 2018. Steve Irvine, the founder and CEO, said the advisory board will play an active role as the company grows its customer base and brings its product to market.
