Overview
Intella builds Arabic speech services offering enterprise-grade transcription, analytics, and AI-powered customer engagement tools tailored to more than 25 dialects. Its proprietary speech-to-text models have achieved a reported global record accuracy of 95.73%. The company aims to help businesses move beyond generic AI and deliver localized, human-like conversations at scale. Intella plans to use the new funding to further enhance R&D, expand its product lineup, and increase regional hiring. Founded in 2021 by CEO Nour Taher and CTO Omar Mansour and based in Riyadh, the company has positioned itself on dialectal coverage and high accuracy as core differentiators. The funding round increased the company’s total capital raised to $16.9M. Intella builds Arabic-centric voice technology and audio analytics, marketing a product called Intella Voice. The company tested its system on over 30,000 hours of Arabic audio and reported a 95.73% accuracy rate, claiming it surpasses Google’s speech-to-text, OpenAI’s Whisper, Meta’s M4T, and IBM Watson. Intella is expanding beyond transcription into audio analytics features such as summarization, sentiment analysis, topic extraction, and call scoring. The new capital will support development of end-to-end AI models localized for the MENA region. Management has made a strategic decision to relocate the company’s headquarters to Saudi Arabia to tap the kingdom’s growing tech and AI scene. The recent funding also positions Intella to broaden its regional footprint and enhance its product suite.
