Invers develops an insect production chain to transform insects into alternative proteins for animal feed and pet food. The company operates a circular model that relies on partner farmers for breeding and on cooperatives for sourcing and commercialisation. Its pet food products are already sold in 500 specialised stores across France, including networks such as Gamm Vert, Magasin Vert and Botanic. Invers raised €15 million in a Series A led by IDIA Capital Investissement and Agri Impact, a fund managed by Citizen Capital in partnership with Fondation Avril. The funding will enable the company to scale up and structure a national agricultural supply chain, beginning in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region to deploy operations for up to 50 farmers in the Limagne plain. In a second phase the platform aims to duplicate the model across all French regions as part of its ambition to participate in the food and agricultural transition.
