KOA Biotech is an aquaculture production startup that has developed a biosensor system combined with proprietary algorithms to form an autonomous device for early detection of waterborne infections. The company was born as a spin-off of Pompeu Fabra University based on the founder's doctoral thesis; Sira Mogas is CEO and founder.
