Libertine FPE develops 'smart engines' for electric vehicles and distributed power generation, designing e-machines and control technology used in its intelliGEN modules. The company is building and planning demonstrations of prototype intelliGEN smart engine modules. The new capital will enable construction and demonstration of prototypes, engagement with automotive manufacturers, and further business development ahead of a planned Series A in 2020. Libertine has raised over £4.8m to date, including the recent £770k round. The company currently employs seven staff and expects to create a further five jobs in the year ahead.
