Founded in 2024 by Karan Shroff, Anurag Banerjee and Tina Balachandran, LightFury Games is a AAA-focused game-tech studio with a roughly 100-member team. Its debut title, eCricket, is built on Unreal Engine 5, designed mobile-first and slated for release in 2026. The company has secured a global player roster license covering over 600 professional cricketers for the title. LightFury has invested in core development capabilities, infrastructure and analytics systems to enable continuous content and deep player engagement. Financially, the studio has completed two funding rounds, most recently raising US$11 million in a Pre-Series A from venture investors and strategic athlete backers. The studio plans to use the fresh capital to finish game development and strengthen live-ops and post-launch systems to support a live-service gaming franchise.
