Liquavista develops a next-generation LCD2.0 electronic screen technology and three product platforms—LiquavistaBright, LiquavistaColor and LiquavistaVivid—targeted at e-readers and tablet devices. Founded in 2006 and based in Eindhoven, the company has launched System Development Kits that have seen very strong demand. Liquavista reported significant interest from players in the smart mobile device industry. The company aims to commercialize its next-generation LCD2.0 displays and have products on the market during 2011. To support that plan it raised new funding to accelerate commercialization and support its market strategy. The financing will be used to drive the company’s entry into its main strategic markets.
