Lola operates a cake ordering and customisation platform serving customers across Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait. The company was founded in 2023 by Othman Janahi and has raised a $1.3M pre-seed in February 2025 and a $3M seed round led by Vision Ventures. Lola plans to build a central production facility in Dammam and roll out a network of cloud bakeries to improve quality and scale operations. It aims to expand beyond cakes into a broader gifting platform. The recent capital injection is intended to fund these operational and expansion initiatives.
