Founded in 2019 by Dalal Alrayes and Sourabh Shah and based in Riyadh, the company connects to more than 35 financial institutions across the region. Spare raised $5 million in a pre-Series A round to scale its open banking infrastructure, expand API integrations, and accelerate product development. It plans to deploy the funds to expand operations across the GCC and broaden its commercial integrations. The recent financing was led by anb Seed Fund with participation from Vision Ventures, SEEDRA Ventures, 500 Global, Boubyan Ventures, and MEVP, strengthening its balance sheet for regional growth.

Madeed completed a pilot that attracted 150 subscribers, which the team cites as evidence of demand ahead of a wider launch. Proceeds are earmarked for product development and expansion of clinical and lab partnerships, beginning in Saudi Arabia. The company positions itself as the first platform of its kind in the Middle East focused on personalised preventative healthcare and longevity.
