Overview

Mavenoid provides an AI-powered support platform tailored to products and devices, offering intelligent troubleshooting, remote support, and self-service tools for pre-sale and post-sale needs. Its proprietary AI parses documentation and customer intent to deliver personalized support experiences. Customers achieve self-service resolution rates of 58% and up versus a 9% industry average, and report customer satisfaction above 90% for complex issues. Mavenoid recently launched Generative Answers to surface the most relevant product knowledge instantly and Vision Assist to let users pre-fill product information by scanning labels. Both features are in beta with select customers and are planned to be available to all later this summer. The company closed a $6M debt financing with HSBC in April 2024 to fund continued technology investments in generative and vision AI. Mavenoid provides both AI-enabled self-service assistants and human-led interactive video support to help hardware and consumer electronics companies automate technical support and onboarding. The product combines OpenAI's GPT-3 with proprietary algorithms to build optimized, high-quality support models that index documentation, manuals and FAQs for non-linear troubleshooting. Live support lets agents guide customers via smartphone video, annotate the view, and feed improvements back into the AI models. Mavenoid integrates with CRM, ticketing, ecommerce and knowledge‑base systems and can be embedded on websites or linked via QR codes. The company has expanded into more than 50 languages and added integrations with Salesforce, Zendesk, Shopify, Zapier and others. With the new funding it plans to double down on AI and product development and scale its technology globally. Mavenoid builds an AI/ML-powered automated product support platform that lets customers self-serve on installation, usage, and complex troubleshooting tasks. Unlike generic chatbots, the platform can handle the entire span of support requests, reducing support costs and resolution times. The company has signed deals with several Global Fortune 500 companies, including HP and ABB, indicating traction with large customers. Founded in 2017 by two former Palantir employees and based in Stockholm, Mavenoid has positioned itself with technical support teams. Recently it raised $8 million (approx €7.1 million) in an investment round led by Mosaic Ventures alongside Creandum and Point Nine Capital. The round brings total funding to $10 million (approx €9 million), and Mosaic partner Simon Levene has joined the board. Mavenoid is a Stockholm‑based automated troubleshooting platform that serves as the first level of technical support for industrial equipment. Its product asks customers a series of structured multiple‑choice questions to narrow down issues and deliver diagnostic solutions, positioning itself as faster and more useful than free‑text chatbots. The company gives an example of diagnosing an electrical system problem via guided questions that produce actionable fixes. Mavenoid was founded in 2016 by two former Palantir employees and launched in 2017; its initial diagnosis engine was spun off from technology developed at the Swedish Institute of Computer Science (SICS). That SICS connection helped the company secure industrial customers such as Scania. Mavenoid recently raised $1.9 million and plans to use the funding to hire more people and expand beyond the Nordics.
