Founded in 2022 by Anand Yadav and Gaurang Kuchhal, Mekr provides end-to-end services across product design, prototyping, tooling, certification, and mass manufacturing for appliance brands. The company works across home and kitchen appliances, personal care, and car accessories and has developed more than 100 SKUs. Mekr has partnered with over 40 brands, including Croma, Wipro, Amazon Basics, and Flipkart. Its engineering approach relies on modular systems such as BLDC motor systems, heating systems, load cells, and in-house mould design capabilities. With the Rs 67 crore Series A, Mekr plans to invest in R&D, manufacturing automation, supplier localisation, quality systems, and scaling exports. The raise positions the company to expand production capabilities and deepen partnerships with consumer electronics brands.
