MiMARK Diagnostics, a femtech spin-off from the Vall d’Hebron Research Institute, is developing an in vitro diagnostic test to improve the diagnosis of endometrial cancer using gynecological fluids as a non‑invasive biomarker source. The company’s first product is in the final prototyping stage and will move into verification and clinical validation with the new funding. MiMARK plans to accelerate clinical verification and validation and to expand R&D into additional gynecological indications, including a potential second indication for endometriosis. The company intends to strengthen collaborations with leading institutions, healthcare professionals and industry partners to advance its diagnostic platform. Financially, MiMARK closed a seed financing round totaling €4.22M that includes significant public support via the European Commission’s EIC Accelerator.
