The startup has a small team of nine people and expects modest headcount growth to about 10–11 this year. Financially, it recently secured €1.8 million to fund these next development and commercialization steps. Predictheon is already engaging in discussions with large medical-equipment companies about potential partnerships, distribution deals or exits, and the company does not intend to handle a global commercial strategy entirely on its own.

Sycai Medical builds an AI-driven digital medical device that scans medical imaging to detect early cancers and premalignant lesions in the abdomen without invasive tests. The software analyzes every imaging test, even those performed for unrelated reasons, to automate patient monitoring and to scan low‑symptom patients for lesions. For oncologic patients it helps clinicians quantify treatment response and it aims to better define benign lesions that will never develop into cancer. The company is based in Barcelona and is active in Spain and Italy. Sycai is undergoing a transformation from a product‑driven to a business‑driven organization following MDR approval and the initiation of commercial activities. The firm recently raised funding to further develop its technology and support commercialization. Sycai Medical develops an AI-powered medical software that analyzes CT images to detect early pancreatic lesions and estimate their likelihood of progressing to cancer. Its algorithm highlights areas of concern on scans and provides alerts to radiologists to accelerate diagnosis; the diagnostic method has been patented. The company plans to commercialize via direct sales to clinics and hospitals and by licensing its technology into PACS devices, and already has preagreements with several companies.
