Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Redmond, Washington, MontyCloud builds a platform that helps enterprises and managed service providers automatically run, govern, and optimize their cloud infrastructure. The software enforces governance policies, reduces manual workflows, and identifies cost-saving opportunities, contributing to what the company describes as a major industry shift toward automated CloudOps. Over the past two years, cloud spend under MontyCloud’s management has expanded more than 400%, and the firm’s recurring revenue has nearly tripled on a compound annual basis. The company currently employs about 85 people, most of whom are based in India.
