- Moove
Participated · Series C · Aug 2026
Founded in 2020 in Nigeria and now headquartered in Dubai, Moove started as a vehicle-financing startup and expanded into ride-hailing and deliveries in Africa before moving into autonomous vehicle operations in 2023. The company currently owns and operates a 42,000-vehicle human-driven ride-hailing fleet across 14 countries and employs about 3,300 people globally while continuing to provide vehicle financing to gig drivers. Moove serves as the fleet operator for Waymo in Phoenix, Miami and Las Vegas and plans future operations in London; it also already owns robotaxi vehicles from another AV developer. The firm intends to acquire robotaxis via debt financing and aims to scale to potentially hundreds of thousands of vehicles over time. Moove is investing in automated depots called Nests to enable around-the-clock, robotics-assisted charging, maintenance and servicing, and expects its traditional mobility business to achieve full profitability this year.
- Applied Atomics
Participated · Seed · Jun 2026
Applied Atomics is building an AI-defined alternating multimode propulsion system intended to enable a new class of space mobility and logistics. The company’s flagship concept is the Star Reacher Network, an in-space mobility architecture meant to treat movement and logistics as a network rather than single-vehicle missions. Applied Atomics says its multimode power processing unit (PPU) has been delivered and integrated for an upcoming on-orbit demonstration mission, which was announced at the UK Parliament and is en route to orbit. The founding team pairs technical expertise—Theo Saunders’ plasma physics research at Queen Mary University of London and Ashley Modeste Johnson’s aerospace engineering background—with commercial experience from John Auburn, who helped scale Astroscale in the UK. Applied Atomics announced an oversubscribed $4M pre-seed round led by Oxford Science Enterprises and supported by a mix of venture and strategic backers. The company highlights partnerships and advisory relationships with industry and institutional programs including NATO DIANA, Airbus, Thales Alenia Space, Seraphim Space Accelerator, ESA BIC UK, the UK Space Agency accelerator, and NVIDIA Inception as it advances toward deploying its demo and scaling the Star Reacher network.
- Dapple
Led · Seed · Jun 2026
Dapple offers the Enterprise OS Cloud, an operating system layer that aggregates fragmented AI infrastructure into dedicated, single-tenant, in-country deployments for enterprises. The infrastructure is live and carrying production AI workloads globally, and the company reported more than $100 million in customer contracts within five months of launch. Dapple positions its product as an alternative to building in-house, using hyperscalers, or renting raw compute without enterprise controls. Founders Tricia Martinez and Salam Al-Mosawi lead the company; their teams have collectively deployed over 300,000 accelerators across enterprise and hyperscaler environments. The company plans to use recent seed funding to accelerate global deployments and expand the Enterprise OS Cloud category. Current public disclosures do not include revenue, valuation, or prior funding details.
- MontyCloud
Participated · Series B · Jan 2026
Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Redmond, Washington, MontyCloud builds a platform that helps enterprises and managed service providers automatically run, govern, and optimize their cloud infrastructure. The software enforces governance policies, reduces manual workflows, and identifies cost-saving opportunities, contributing to what the company describes as a major industry shift toward automated CloudOps. Over the past two years, cloud spend under MontyCloud’s management has expanded more than 400%, and the firm’s recurring revenue has nearly tripled on a compound annual basis. The company currently employs about 85 people, most of whom are based in India. Led by CEO Walter Rogers since 2022, MontyCloud’s leadership team also includes founders Venkat Krishnamachari (CPO) and Kannan Parthasarathy (CTO). With fresh capital in hand, the startup plans to accelerate product development and broaden its customer base among MSPs and large enterprises.
- Lucidean
Participated · Seed · Dec 2025
Lucidean builds CohZero™, a coherent-lite optical interconnect architecture that offers coherent-class reach and bandwidth while operating within the cost and power envelopes of traditional intensity-modulation direct-detection (IMDD) systems. The platform is designed to slot into existing IMDD ecosystems—leveraging widely available lasers, simplified DSPs, and standard pluggable module architectures—so hyperscale data centers can scale to multi-terabit performance without a disruptive physical-layer overhaul. Lucidean is currently engineering 3.2 Tbps and 6.4 Tbps transceivers aimed at AI-driven fabrics and data-center interconnects. Following an $18 million Seed round, the company plans to expand R&D, validate CohZero™ performance, and accelerate productization. The capital will also support hiring as the team moves hardware toward commercial readiness. Industry veteran Dr. James Raring has joined as CEO, bringing more than 300 patents and deep experience in photonics commercialization. The company’s financial resources now position it to demonstrate its value proposition and pursue market entry, though no revenue or deployment metrics were disclosed.
