Mosaico is a Parma-based robotics software startup building an open, hardware-agnostic platform that streamlines how robots ingest and analyse data from multiple sensors and cameras. The system is designed to be compatible with the principal robotics frameworks in use today, making it easier for developers to train robots with artificial intelligence. Since making the core project freely available online on 15 December, the company has attracted almost 300 followers in just three weeks, signalling strong community interest. The three-engineer founding team—Federico Cabassi, Francesco Di Corato and Gabriele Lini—previously worked together for more than a decade on autonomous-driving algorithms at Ambarella. Mosaico plans to use newly secured capital to hire additional engineers and complete the platform by June 2026. Commercial, enterprise-grade products built on the free base technology are slated for launch in the second half of 2026. The firm has so far raised €1 million in external funding.
