  • Embedd

    Participated · Seed · Aug 2026

Embedd develops a platform that turns chip documentation into digital twins of hardware to accelerate software integration across devices such as robots, vehicles, drones and medical devices. The company says its platform reduces firmware and integration timelines from months to roughly three weeks and can deliver production-ready software for a given chip up to six times faster than manual processes. Embedd launched commercially in April 2026 and has already signed semiconductor customers, including Microchip Technology, to enable support for ecosystems like the Zephyr real-time operating system. The startup was founded by Ukrainian entrepreneurs Michael Lazarenko, Maxim Gorinov, and Valentin Gololobov, who previously ran a hardware company together. With the $2.7 million pre-seed funding led by Seedcamp, Embedd plans to expand its platform and deepen partnerships with semiconductor companies as it pursues broader adoption in robotics, automotive, manufacturing and medical device markets.

  • Nexcade

    Participated · Seed · Jul 2026

Nexcade builds AI-driven software to address operational workflows in freight forwarding, where many processes still rely on email, spreadsheets and fragmented systems. The company focuses on interpreting unstructured information and supporting context-dependent decisions in freight operations. Founders mentioned by name in the announcement include Dan and Tasho, and the team has delivered a product already used by leading freight forwarders. Investors cited the founding team's deep understanding of freight-forwarding problems as a key reason for backing the company. The company has completed a $6M Seed raise led by Philipp Werner with participation from Connect Ventures, MMC Ventures, Entropy Industrial Capital and angels. No revenue or user metrics were disclosed in the announcement.

  • Upstream

    Participated · Seed · Jun 2026

Upstream has rebuilt the inbox to host AI agents that can read, draft, organise, schedule, and act on emails while enabling collaborative team workflows and shared context across contributors. The platform surfaced AI-powered prioritisation, automated drafting (requiring user approval), follow-ups, search for receipts, meeting scheduling, and integrations with external AI tools and calendars. During an invite-only beta the product engaged thousands of users, with reported time savings on inbox management (from over an hour a day to around 15 minutes for some users). Upstream emphasizes user control and privacy, stating it does not train models on customer data and that AI analysis of messages is transient and request-driven. The company is available on web, desktop (Mac and Windows), and iOS with Gmail support at launch, and it plans Android and Outlook compatibility. Upstream offers both a free tier and a paid Pro plan for expanded AI usage and team features, and is led by CEO and co-founder Louis Lecat, formerly of Asana and Algolia.

  • Sekai

    Led · Series A · Jun 2026

Sekai provides an AI-powered platform that translates plain-language prompts into functional, interactive mini-apps, enabling users to create games, utilities, and social tools in seconds. Its product features a social feed where users can share, remix, and engage with each other’s apps, borrowing viral mechanics similar to TikTok’s remixing. Within two months of launching its creation tools the platform hosted nearly 1 million mini-apps, with roughly half a million apps generated per month. Sekai uses AI coding agents to convert descriptions like “make a quiz about 90s movies” into working applications. The company targets consumer creators rather than enterprise product teams and is positioning itself to lower the barrier to interactive app creation. Following the Series A, Sekai plans to expand its AI creation platform and grow engagement on the network.

  • Dessn

    Led · Seed · May 2026

Dessn provides a design tool that runs customers' codebases in the cloud without setup by abstracting away runtime dependencies, enabling designers to work directly within a production environment. The product is intended for teams with an existing codebase who want to iterate on live projects rather than for ground-up ideation. Dessn says this approach eases handoffs to developers and supports sharing via public links. The company has early customers including Color, Wispr, and Mercury and offers a free tier (one repository compile and five prompts per week) plus paid plans starting at $39 per user per month. Dessn plans to add integrations such as Slack and meeting notetakers while explicitly avoiding a Figma integration. Founded by Gabriella Hachem and Nim Cheema about two years ago, the company currently has four employees and intends to remain small while hiring a few additional team members.
