  • Embedd

    Participated · Seed · Aug 2026

Embedd develops a platform that turns chip documentation into digital twins of hardware to accelerate software integration across devices such as robots, vehicles, drones and medical devices. The company says its platform reduces firmware and integration timelines from months to roughly three weeks and can deliver production-ready software for a given chip up to six times faster than manual processes. Embedd launched commercially in April 2026 and has already signed semiconductor customers, including Microchip Technology, to enable support for ecosystems like the Zephyr real-time operating system. The startup was founded by Ukrainian entrepreneurs Michael Lazarenko, Maxim Gorinov, and Valentin Gololobov, who previously ran a hardware company together. With the $2.7 million pre-seed funding led by Seedcamp, Embedd plans to expand its platform and deepen partnerships with semiconductor companies as it pursues broader adoption in robotics, automotive, manufacturing and medical device markets.

  • Seltz

    Participated · Seed · Jun 2026

Seltz builds a purpose-built search stack—owning its web crawler, index, retrieval models, and ranking—targeted at AI agents and chatbots that require machine-ready, citable information. The system crawls hundreds of millions of pages per day, returns results in under 200 milliseconds, and scores and extracts specific passages, tables, or images to supply agents rather than just human-oriented snippets. Founder and CEO Antonio Mallia previously worked on information retrieval in his PhD and at Amazon and Pinecone, and the team includes multiple PhD holders and veterans of Amazon’s AI efforts. Seltz was incorporated in the U.S. and founded last October, operates fully remotely with about 15 employees split between the San Francisco Bay Area and hubs near European universities in Pisa and Leipzig. The company faces a crowded competitive landscape with better-funded peers, but plans to use its seed funding to advance its search stack, hire, and launch enterprise sales. Its advisers and angel backers span technology companies and academic information-retrieval labs.

  • Orbio

    Participated · Series A · Jun 2026

Orbio builds AI agents that interview candidates, assess fit, monitor employee output and conduct daily check-ins across an employee’s lifecycle. The company was founded in 2025 by Sergi Bastardas, Nacho Travesí and Antonio Melé and counts customers such as Poke, YUM! Brands and The Stepping Stones Group. Orbio says customers are transitioning from pilots to full deployments and reports that at The Stepping Stones Group it now runs the company’s full US operation, with 20% more candidates progressing to hire. Financially, Orbio has raised $26 million to date, including the newly announced $21 million Series A led by Dawn Capital and earlier backers Visionaries and 2100 Ventures. The startup plans to use the new capital to hire and develop additional AI agents and expand deployments.

  • Alpa

    Participated · Seed · Feb 2026

Alpa is a London-based fintech platform purpose-built for the hospitality sector, co-founded by Anton Soulier and Jean-François Moy. The software ingests point-of-sale data, banking information and native connections to food and beverage suppliers to generate a live operational P&L, eliminating the weeks-long wait for month-end accounting reports. Designed for operators rather than accountants, it automates reconciliation and bookkeeping workflows and applies AI-driven classification to surface actionable insights on profitability throughout the month. Research cited by the company shows that 79% of restaurants want real-time data yet 27% cannot track basic KPIs, underscoring the market need Alpa targets. Positioning itself as the hospitality industry’s operational finance layer, the company blends vertical fintech, automation and supply-chain connectivity to improve decision-making and control. With fresh capital, Alpa plans to deepen its financial data infrastructure, expand native supplier integrations and enhance AI-powered features, investing primarily in product and engineering talent. The $3.5 million injection is the company’s first external funding, and no revenue or user metrics have been disclosed.

  • EraDrive

    Participated · Seed · Dec 2025

EraDrive is a California-based startup spun out of Stanford University that is building artificial-intelligence modules to give spacecraft the ability to operate autonomously. Its software and hardware allow satellites to avoid collisions, maintain safe distances, execute proximity maneuvers, control orbits, and fly in formation without continuous human commands. The company was founded by Sumant Sharma, Justin Kruger, and Stanford professor Simone D’Amico. With its technology, EraDrive aims to reduce operators’ reliance on ground control, lowering operational costs and enhancing mission flexibility. The newly secured funding will finance the first production runs of its autonomy modules, extend capabilities for low-Earth-orbit missions, and expand the engineering team. EraDrive is also forming partnerships with satellite manufacturers, commercial operators, and defense stakeholders to integrate its systems into upcoming missions.
