MYCS sells affordable, customisable furniture—wardrobes, sofas, shelving, tables and chairs—through an online photorealistic 3D configurator that lets customers choose design, size, material and colour. Most production is in Poland, and a Finnish partner manufactures recyclable seats for its CHAYR chair; average delivery time is about three weeks. The company was founded in 2014 and operates across Germany, Switzerland, Austria and France, with seven physical showrooms including locations in Berlin, Paris and Zurich. The company is led by Christoph Jung and Kachun To. mycs raised €10m in a Series A round from Global Founders Capital, TriPos, and angel investors Florian Heinemann and Uwe Horstmann. It intends to use the funds to expand its offerings.
